Good morning. I worked all weekend so I am still in bed in my pj's playing on the computer. I have some errands to run but I have decided I don't give a rat's ass if they get done or not. Did your team win the super bowl? Seeing as I was still hoping that the Saints would somehow manage to pull it off and play in the super bowl .... mine did not. I did get to see Madona and her half-time show... I went into a patients room and watched it with her. I thought it was quite the half time show.... but did you notice that Madge couldn't quite get down with her dancing... her age is beginning to show. I still cringe remembering when I decided to bust a move at Buddy Guy's club in front of Taylor and .... I got down..... but could not get back up and fell on my ass. Taylor laughing and people trying to help me off the floor as I crawled around trying to find something to use to haul myself up off the floor... Getting old sucks... take it from me.... there are body parts that are unrecognizable, stuff that used to be cute when I wiggled it just bags and sags now. I can not figure out what the hell is going on with my neck(I have a picture at one of Taylors charity affairs and I thought I was looking good!! then I see this picture and it was all WHAT THE CRAP is that going on with my neck..) you can suck in a tummy, but not a neck, I have tried. Granny panties are now my -- go to comfort drawers on a daily basis --- not just for those special "time of the month" days (those days are now {thank you Jesus} over). The selection of men is narrowing... men my age are so concerned about their meds and wanting to know if they will get lucky and need to take a little blue pill. And if they are too young you wake up the next morning, roll over, see the sweet young thing in your bed and wonder if he is your date or did you somehow give birth during the night. I have solved that old man vs young man problem by just not dating anymore. And finally, people now call me "Mam" in that you are an old lady not in the I am a polite person way.
Ok, time for me to get up, put my teeth out of the glass on the bedside and into my mouth, put my contacts in, shave the lady hairs off my chin, put my granny drawers on and be productive. Y'all have a nice day!

Oh lordy, Jody....I think I love you!! You just described me! LOL I'm getting to where I can laugh about it and since turning 60 last year, I have found that I no longer do anything I don't want to do.....which is very liberating.....I also don't give a rat's ass if I piss people off.

I'm in Chicago for a few days for meetings. I'm just praying that the weather holds and we don't get a ton of snow...Ohare is a nightmare when it snows.

Here we go again. Our new head coach and his wife resigned last night. It was never a good fit for them in the first place. Why do all these major decisions happen at the least convenient time? Personal work overload and physical demands have doubled. Yipee...

Went into New York City to the oncologist to get CAT scan results.

I'M FINE! and after my summer appointment I will only have to go once a year for a scan.

Then I wondered over to Bloomingdale where it was a slow day in cosmetics I was offered about 5 makeovers. Took the one from Giorgio Armani beauty (what else will I be able to afford Armani/). Joe did a wonderful job and I looked really good. Made David & our friend Dilip take me to eat.

Way to go, Kathy! I know what it means to have your appointments cut down to just one a year- I was so happy when I was told, you don't have to come 4X a year now- just come twice, then it was don't come back till next year. Can't wait till I hear "You're discharged!" (That should be in 2014- 2 more years.)

Wish I could get an Armani makeover- though what even Armani could do for me, I don't know....rofl!! Sounds like you had a great time.
