Scroll down to the media player at the bottom of the page. I see this getting a lot of airplay from Delilah.

*chills*
Holy cow I LOVE that. I'm very emotional these days, a little teary already about various things, so this really slays me. I have thought a little country would sound good on him and I think it does. This really sounds like Nashville and as much as I love soul and blues on him, I can totally see how he could do country with that soft southern rasp he's got. I'll stop now. I'm gushing. ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh and Mari's right. People with fallen loved ones will be flooding D. with this.

OMG his voice sounds amazing and the song is tear jerker.
From what we have heard so far Taylor has stayed true to himself and despite the sadness of the words that makes me smile. In fact since day one Taylor has made me smile! I was wise enough to never grow up while fooling most people into believing I had. -Margaret Mead |

RE: "Nineteen" is on myrocketscience!
I am madly in love with this song. OMG. And you know how country music and artists cross over all the time. I can so see Tay doing so well with this song in country and as cross over. I can see this song being a smash for him. I think this song could get him accepted and highly praised. It will touch so many chourds in people. I almost cried when listening. And his voice and emotion gave me chills.
Now, what I heard is that he wrote this about someone he knew from his hometown. Or something like that. |

RE: "Nineteen" is on myrocketscience!
I saw a video of other guys singing it. I forget the name..I knew it yesterday.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure he didn't write it. But it's awesome!!!!! You're right. It could wind up on the country charts easily and maybe somewhere else!

RE: "Nineteen" is on myrocketscience!
I think those other guys got it from Taylor. Because I had been told a few weeks ago that Tay wrote a song called Nineteen that was suppose to be the first single. I'll check with my source.

I'm not a country music fan, but, his voice and the story it's telling in "Nineteen" has the potential to crossover into a few different genres. It's a really good song.

RE: "Nineteen" is on myrocketscience!
Went over to listen and it's not on the media player playlist
Is it one of those revolving playlists? Can't wait to hear it. I always wanted Taylor to do a record that had him doing songs from all different genres just to prove that he could! Thanks to Sturgess on BB here are the lyrics... Nineteen The number on his back, Voted captain of his high school football team Took us all the way to state, got a scholarship to play down in Tennessee He could run, he could duck, he could throw, he could go like you've never seen, Nineteen But on the day those twin towers came down his whole world turned around He told em all, ya'll I can't play ball there's a war on now So he marched right in with a few good men, and joined the marines At Nineteen Well he's the boy next door, might have carried your bags at the grocery store He's somebody's son, in a hole with a gun, in a foreign land Try' in to hold on to his American dream Nineteen There's a sniper out there in the dark somewhere, and a solider down Ya we need someone who can duck and run to get him out some how Want one good man to raise his hand, and take one for the team Well how 'bout you Nineteen Well he's the boy next door, he used to carry your bags at the grocery store He's somebody's son, in a hole with a gun, in a foreign land Try' in to hold on to his American dream Nineteen Brought him home today with a big parade down on main street Got a purple heart and a silver star, solider gave a speech Said he could run, he could duck, he could throw, he's the one who rescued me He said he could have played for Tennessee Number Nineteen He was Nineteen A video performed by Waycross thanks to Cali50: put butter in between his thighs and he will slide right through the door
