According to Rodney Ho.

Quote:16- Taylor Hicks (15) – He will always be the winner of the most popular “Idol” season ever (season 5) so I have to give him props, even if he’ll never sell oodles of records or get any radio airplay. He’s a road warrior and will tour until his lungs give out. Honestly, this past year, the only appearance I saw of him was a very funny one on Jimmy Fallon, where he sang Rebecca Black’s “Friday” with Stephen Colbert.

Love this sentence: He’s a road warrior and will tour until his lungs give out
Entertaining to read, although I disagree with most of his rankings Haha

put butter in between his thighs and he will slide right through the door Haha

Will the competition among the idols by the media ever cease?!?

Now I can't wait for Taylor to move to Nashville-B'ham-NYC-LA-Orange Beach-East Bumblefuck in June-Aug-Sept-Dec and work on his roots-americana-jazz-rock-blues-country-soul-rap-jackson browne-elvis album, so that we can listen to it in Jan-March-May 2012! - Freebird

I think it's good people still have enough interest to care about the Idols and their success after this many years. There will always be different opinions and measures of success, but just the fact that they're still listing them is good for the Idols involved. I bet each year as time goes on the lists will grow smaller and Taylor will still be on them Thumbup It does seem that everyone agrees Season 5 was the most popular, no matter who writes it Soulpatrol

I read somewhere that there won't be an X Factor tour. I doubt they will be talking about these contestants 5 years from now. Ironically, even as a group they didn't have enough X Factor to sell tour tickets or I'm sure someone would have been cashing in Haha

Idol fans are a very loyal breed that have developed ways of being fans that really promote their favorites. The Idols are lucky to have this kind of fan base, even if they have to put up with batshit crazy stuff too Haha

What you say is all true but I still think Rodney Ho is nuts with his rankings.

Yes, he is Haha

He's got Kat higher than Taylor based on success on a show that hasn't even aired yet. He's got David Cook higher with nothing to mention at all,
Fantasia higher, when Taylor has same number of albums with more touring and charity appearances, Ruben higher even though he admits he hasn't done anything lately.

At the very least, Rodney now knows what Taylor has been up to Haha
