Taylor Has A New Couch-confirmed!
Another great article from Mary Colurso...
http://www.al.com/entertainment/index.ss...ay_ch.html "When Hicks became a TV sensation on the Fox reality show, The Birmingham News actually paid a visit to his Southside apartment — and raised a ruckus by looking (and photographing) under the cushions. Well, that ratty old couch is finally gone. "I laid the couch to rest," Hicks says. "I guess it went to used-couch heaven." I wish she'd included more photographs! The one she did though is a doozy

RE: Taylor Has A New Couch-confirmed!
Great pic of Taylor! I've always preferred the concert shots over the posed publicity photos that accompany most of his articles.
That couch may be in couch heaven but its image is burned in our memories. An icon of life before Idol. I can't wait for the reports and media to surface from this show. All his pent up performing energy exploding in an intimate setting is more than just a little titillating. Now I can't wait for Taylor to move to Nashville-B'ham-NYC-LA-Orange Beach-East Bumblefuck in June-Aug-Sept-Dec and work on his roots-americana-jazz-rock-blues-country-soul-rap-jackson browne-elvis album, so that we can listen to it in Jan-March-May 2012! - Freebird |

RE: Taylor Has A New Couch-confirmed!
I guess country could be anything these days
![]() If it's more like Lady Antebellum style as opposed to Scotty McCreery style (ultra old style country) I'd be happier. Any new music is good though put butter in between his thighs and he will slide right through the door

RE: Taylor Has A New Couch-confirmed!
Oh Lordy I think I will have to get to Ore in the early afternoon to fight for my spot near the tiny little stage. This sounds like the very show I have been craving! I promise to take notes!!!

RE: Taylor Has A New Couch-confirmed!
If I remember correctly, I remember photos of that ratty old couch, a bare mattress on the floor to sleep on, and a table full of harmonicas and a microphone. Wish I could find them again.
