American Idol season 8 finalist Danny Gokey is the latest show alum to find himself without a major label deal. A spokesperson for the country singer’s label confirms to the Hollywood Reporter that, "Danny Gokey and RCA Nashville have mutually agreed to part ways."

Interesting, I thought he was a fairly successful country star. It will be interesting to see how long the press takes to go from "....mutually agreed to part ways" to "....his label dumped him", the way they did with Taylor.

I thought Danny was doing alright too, although I don't read that much about him these days. Hopefully he'll be picked up by another label and will continue to have success
