lol on the sewing and quilting until you discovered Taylor. Same thing happened to me. Only thing I've sewn in last 5 years is a quilt...for Taylor

Well, let's put it this way - with the huge crowd & the music, plus imbibing? No, I didn't get much of what anyone said to me there. LOL

OK, this is funny. One fan told another fan (no names) that she thought I was really creepy because I stared at her so intently when she talked to me! LOL I have to read lips! It dawned on fan #2 later WHY I stare so much & she explained it to her.

I should be cleaning the bathroom or mopping the kitchen. Goodnight.

Liz, the great thing about all those trips is that other than Jamaica, they were all expenses paid! My favorite of all was the cruise in the South Pacific. Just incredible beauty, snorkeled at every island we stopped at, including Bora Bora. I'm not crazy about big cities but Paris was my 2nd favorite trip. I would love to go live there for about 6 months.

Thailand is gonna be a "trip" in more ways than one. They actually have elephants walking down the streets with the traffic sometimes. I wish I knew some Thai! My DD will have to give me some quick lessons on the basics. I did find out how to say Thank you. Men say it differently that women! Yikes. We are in trouble.

Margaret, I know a number of people who've been to Thailand and they have considered it one of the most amazing experiences of their lives. Sanuk is the Thai word for fun and enjoyment. The Thai people strongly believe that for something to be worthwhile it has to be sanuk. If it's not fun, why do it. I can firmly get behind that way of thinking! I hope you have a great time!
