RE: American Idol Top 10 Rewind - 3/30/11
Hard to say which is the best it was the week Taylor did Trouble (which I loved), David Cook sang Billy Jean (brilliant) & Adam Lambert stripped down Tracks of My Tears (Got the standing O from Smokey himself).
Shows that despite the critics American Idol can give you chills and make you want to stand up and yell "Bravo" (or brava) I was wise enough to never grow up while fooling most people into believing I had. -Margaret Mead |

I agree Kathy, those 3 performances were outstanding. Taylor's Trouble was the first time I went out and purchased music because of something a contestant sang. I had never heard of Ray LM but Taylor sparked an interest.
As hokey as Idol can be, it really does have those OMG unforgettable moments put butter in between his thighs and he will slide right through the door

I wonder if anyone will deliver that caliber of performance this year? Something that will have us sitting up and taking notice.
Now I can't wait for Taylor to move to Nashville-B'ham-NYC-LA-Orange Beach-East Bumblefuck in June-Aug-Sept-Dec and work on his roots-americana-jazz-rock-blues-country-soul-rap-jackson browne-elvis album, so that we can listen to it in Jan-March-May 2012! - Freebird |
