RIP Elizabeth Taylor
The epitome of glamor and strength. A life fully lived.
Mo Rocca tweeted something I was thinking about: Quote:Hoping tired recitation of Elizabeth Taylor's marriages doesn't overshadow huge acting talent & unblinking courage speaking out about AIDS "Peace, love, and scruff" |

RE: RIP Elizabeth Taylor
Several years ago I traveled to Washington DC to intepret for the AIDS memorial quilt event. They laid the quilt end to end across the Mall (sad to say it covered the Mall), and a series of celebrities and others read each name one by one. I was privleged to interpret a little as Elizabeth read some of the names of those who had died. She was glamorous, elegant and sweet to all. May she rest in peace.
Now I want to catch up on some Elizabeth Taylor movies! I've never seen Cat on a Hot Tin Roof or Cleopatra...I'm pretty sure Turner Classic Movies will pulll some of these from the vault to commemorate her passing. "It's all love...." -- Wynn Christian |
