This same thing happens to me on a regular basis, Sue -- both here and at NESP. I just do the "Mark all forums read" option too (though I have to admit I never knew where it was here on THR until I just read Mac's post! LOL).

I've never had to do that. LOL I just click "view today's posts" and go from there.

I have the same thing and I never noticed that 'mark all posts read' thing. Duh me! Luckily I did think about looking at dates. lol!
