A snippet of Taylor's SMB performance.

RE: "The Gulf is Back"
No Denise. Taylor flew to Mississippi while the Bus-o-Boys drove to Grand Junction for the next gig.
Now I can't wait for Taylor to move to Nashville-B'ham-NYC-LA-Orange Beach-East Bumblefuck in June-Aug-Sept-Dec and work on his roots-americana-jazz-rock-blues-country-soul-rap-jackson browne-elvis album, so that we can listen to it in Jan-March-May 2012! - Freebird |

RE: "The Gulf is Back"
How does one put a band aid on bleeding ears? Ace's song was odd, his voice irritating, and his delivery forced. For the life of me, I have no idea how that thin grating voice ever got a role on Broadway. (Then again, maybe he was cast for his abs.)
Taylor? Fantastic!

RE: "The Gulf is Back"
Even without a band, Taylor was amazing. The DH watched it with me and actually said Taylor's was the best performance of the night. Always says when Taylor pulls out the harp, it's the best part of his music. He liked Ricky Skaggs' performance also, but my DH is a country boy more than anything. I actually liked Ricky's song myself, but was shocked at his appearance. Hated Ace's song and his voice sounded way too whiny to me. Loved Bo...but was hoping for a faster song. Great harmony.

RE: "The Gulf is Back"
I only watched Lonestar (because they opened the show) and Taylor. After that, my 18 year old politely asked if he could watch wrestling. I only have one more week left of "TV competition" with him before he goes off to college, so I was nice and acquiesced.
![]() I thought Taylor did a fantastic job also, as evidenced by all the huge smiles on the audience's faces. His happiness is infectious! "It's all love...." -- Wynn Christian |
