The guys in the band for 2010 summer shows

I have to say this or I'll burst.
After witnessing the consummate playing of Josh and John, I'm disappointed Sam is at lead guitar. Josh and John are wickedly talented and brought a lot of class to Taylor's onstage image. In John's case, his smoldering mystique added to the visual pleasure of the show. I know why he's touring with Taylor, but he's going to have to prove to me he can bring out the best in Taylor. If we get hot guitar/harp duels and smokin' solos I'll be the first one to admit I stressed needlessly.

He has played with Sam before, Sue. He's damn good, too. We'll have to see the vids that come out...

Oh I know he has a long history with Taylor. I saw Sam with Taylor at O'Gara's during the shadow tour. He's good, but is he Josh good? Time will tell.

Sue - Just back from the show. I was also at O'Gara's for the shadow show. Prior to this evening - I might have agreed with you. I have to admit Sam was amazing tonight! I can't see anyone being disappointed with Sam in the band.

I have to agree with Denise. Sam's solo in SMB was amazing. Took it a whole different place.
