I know that Buddy Guy is really excited for his new club to open, but that picture made me terribly sad. I was at Legends twice, and both times were really memorable. Of course the first time was when Taylor was in Chicago and he showed up at the club that night and hit the stage a couple of times.

I'd forgotten there was video taken that night. The quality is poor because there was no video allowed...but this woman had her bra cam! LOL

First time Taylor came on stage -- Josh and Keb Mo on guitars, Taylor did some of his usual tags "some people like to love in the pouring rain", etc. This video picks it up halfway through his part. Then Shemekia Copeland came on stage and belted her heart out. You can't see from this camera angle, but Keb Mo hands her a dollar after she's done singing and she stuffs it in her bra! You can see Taylor fumbling around in his pockets to find some money but he comes up short. He is like a kid in a candy store in this video!



Later, Taylor took off his jacket and came on stage with Lurrie Bell (son of Carey Bell, and the headliner for the evening)..and they did a rousing rendition of "Willie Brown Blues". Lurrie Bell has a smoking guitar solo on this one!

One thing that kinda breaks my heart is that the inscription "Taylor Hicks was here" on the women's bathroom wall is now gone!!
