Last of the Hardest Working Men in Showbiz
Great article about Rick Carter (Rollin' in the Hay, Frankie Velvet and the Veltones, Telluride).

Actually, Rick tweeted it earlier this evening. I just wanted to spread the word. Wink

Thats a great article...he is so the "real deal" - I met him in Birmingham last Sept and heard him play at the Rogue and Metro Bistro...such a nice guy...awesome player and singer...wish he would come up North with some of those gigs...we could all pack the house for him, thats for sure.

Read this with my mouth hanging open half the time. What a great life he has led so far. And how much do I love that he has a fridge in the bathroom and a tanning bed in his bedroom!!! LOL

Rick tweeted the article tonight. It was from last August. He really is a super-nice guy. I met him at Metro Bistro the Sunday before Thanksgiving. (It was a slow night and they practically gave me a private concert. LOL) Hard, hard working too. I can't believe the schedule he keeps with all his various bands! He is in a legal battle right now too, to keep this other band from stealing the Telluride brand name. I keep hoping either Frankie Velvet or Rolling in the Hay will play here or at least somewhere close. Would love to see them. Oh, and especially would love to see LOLA.

I can't wait to try grape jelly with catfish! Smile Loved his Bo Diddly story too.
