RE: Lee DeWyze Fans
First post-Idol performance of the single and he's already changed it up from the sappy recorded version. Bodes well I think.

Quote:He's been pretty quiet for most of the summer, but soft-spoken season-nine "American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze will charge back November 16 with the release of his major-label debut, Live It Up. The album will be preceded by the first single, the title track, which will debut Wednesday on "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest's radio show, "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest." RE: Lee DeWyze Fans
Lee was not my favorite by any means during Season 9 but during the Idol tour, let's just say Lee endeared himself to me and I really enjoyed his set.
This single has American Idol written all over it is a real pop number. What saves it from being overly sugery sweet is the gruffness in Lee's voice. If I was TPTB it wouldn't be my first choice for a single but then again they had Taylor sing "The Runaround" all over the place months and released JTFTW as his first single. PS: I really like the album cover I was wise enough to never grow up while fooling most people into believing I had. -Margaret Mead |
