Taylor's Musicians
There are a lot of good pictures out there of Taylor's musicians over the years. I thought we might put up pictures or recent news about them here. I had this one of Johnny (Kulinich) that I really like & wanted to share it. It's not even that good of quality because it's way cropped, but I just love the expression on his face.... You can tell he's feeling the music. This was at Taylor's Warehouse Live concert in Houston on 9/14/09.

RE: Taylor's Musicians
John is really quite good. I had only seen him at 3 of Taylor's acoustic concerts until I saw Frankie Velvet in B'ham in November. Johnny plays in at least two bands with Rick Carter that I know of. Rolling in the Hay and Frankie Velvet & the Mighty Veltones. I've never seen Hay. Not sure how much I would like because I'm not a big country fan. I can take it "some." LOL Frankie Velvet was great. I practically had a private concert that night. In fact, I told Rick that they didn't need to play just for me. LOL There were only a few other people there - it was the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This is Hey Joe. I also have Into the Mystic on my FaceBook page.

RE: Taylor's Musicians
Nola, that was a great concert in Houston. It felt so intimate that night with everyone throwing out songs that they wanted Taylor to sing. John was very friendly that night to all the fans and just added his personality to the fun surrounding Taylor.

I went to Martys one night and there was a very small crowd until much later in the evening. I too had a near private concert with the Hay. They all came over and talked to me and showed me pictures of Taylor and we talked about a little bit of everything. Really fun evening... I felt like one of their friends and I had never met them until that night. During the breaks one of them would come and sit next to me for a minute or two to see how I was enjoying the music.... they did with many of the fans that night .... but they still made me feel special and that they were delighted that I was there. Great southern hospitality!!!

RE: Taylor's Musicians
Thanks Speak Out! Just love that expression. (And sexy lips too. Haha.)

Yeah, Legacy, that's how it was at the Bistro that night for me too. I talked easily with Rick and Leif (Bondarenko) but was kind of shy with John. Then he introduced himself to me after the show. Really a nice bunch of guys in addition to being so talented. Before I could even ask to buy a CD Rick GAVE me one, then all four of them signed it for me.

Oh, and Houston WAS great! I was over between Taylor and Brian, closer to Brian. The only bad thing was a drunk fan standing next to me being super obnoxious. Other than that, I think Houston was my favorite acoustic show as far as the songs he sang. St. Dominic's Preview is my favorite performance of the 3 acoustic shows I went to. I think. Maybe. LOL

These are from the Houston Show:
Another one of Johny. I was pretty far away from him and there was usually a mike stand or Taylor blocking my view of him. I'm not sure how I got this one. (Taylor is cropped out I know.)

I love this one of Brian's hands on the keyboard. He was on fire that night, especially with "Will It Go Round In Circles."

RE: Taylor's Musicians
I was looking for Scavenger Hunt pics and came across this. I know it's horrible quality, but I just liked it. It's from the Magic Bag.
