1. Going to MerryMacs for dinner with Jody (Legacy from the boog). While we were eating, we were greeted by a person who called herself the "goodwill ambassador". She asked where I was from and when I said "Boston" she asked why I was there. When we mentioned Taylor, she was beaming from ear to ear. She had obviously met him when he was in there previously and said how wonderful he was. They took a picture with him that will hang on their wall soon so he'll be on the MerryMacs wall of fame. She also said that "he licked his plate so clean that we could have used the dishes for the next person!"

By the end of our conversation she looked at me and said, "you know what? I laaahhk youuu". ROFL -- I guess this Yankee scored some points in the Deep South.

2. Driving by the Fox Theater as the afternoon matinee was letting out and seeing people walking down the street with their Grease merchandise. When I saw a little girl with an "I Love Taylor" shirt on I rolled down the window and asked her if she liked Taylor. She ran over and turned around and said "look, look he signed my shirt!!!" She was so excited!

3. Ben Deignan. Wow!! This guy looked like a cross between Kris Allen and John Mayer and boy could he sing!! Legacy and I were swooning! Lord, this guy was sex on legs!!

4. Taylor's good vibe the whole night through, including --
a. a heart blasting Tupelo Honey tag, as you can see by the videos. The look of utter bliss on his face just before he launched into it. Yowsa.
b. "I never really loved me like she loved me" ---- aaaaahhhh!!!!!
c. The Doraville tag and "ohhhh Atlanta" singalong on the Runaround
d. The Lodi tag and "I used to call this bar owner like 10 times a week!!!!" banter during Gonna Move
e. "Let's just go on this journey forever, rhinestones and all"
f. 12 minute balls to the wall "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad" with a great twisty Tighten Up tag right at the end.
g. The fact that he was so uninhibited and didn't seem to care. It was all about booze and sex and flaunting it right in our faces. I think he was just one step removed from pulling his pants down and letting it all fly free!!

5. Staying up till 5 AM talking through the night with Legacy about all we had seen and heard. These concerts are made all the more sweet by being able to share them. If Taylor is even half as good at WorkPlay as he was here (and you know he will be because he's "home"), our frau fests are going to be epic.

It was all about booze and sex and flaunting it right in our faces Damn!! I want that mood at WP!

I could not for the life of me remember the way to this site until tonight. Hi Freebird!!! we had a great time, didn't we.
