She is fronting the band with a few changes that had Taylor Hicks as lead singer a few years back. Their self titled debut album (Segue Production) is also impressive. There are six original songs, 2 written by Erin and the other 4 co-written with Sam Gunderson, the bands lead guitarist. This is not an all out blues effort, it has some Motown/soul songs included. Erin's vocals are strong with a spiritual delivery. The production quality is top shelf and was recorded at Capture Music. This project should go a long way in putting the Erin Mitchell Band on the big stage.
